Job Summary

We currently have an Assistant Manager position open at one of our storage facilities in the Sacramento/Elk Grove/Rocklin area. Typical hours are 5 days a week from 9am – 6pm. Normal days off are during the week, so candidates must be able to work weekends!

Compensation: $14-16/hr + monthly bonus potential

We are seeking a person with personal integrity, a strong work ethic and motivated to expand their professional knowledge and skills for a full-time position assisting in operating our busy self-storage facility. Typical days worked are Friday – Tuesday (Wed & Thurs. off). Qualified applicants should email their resume and an explanation of why this position is a good fit.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform daily functions of operating a self-storage facility in accordance with company standards. {Office/Site Management]
• Collecting rents/fees, posting payments and making bank deposits. Participates in collecting past due accounts properly. [Collections}
• Promote rentals by competently handling telephone and personal inquiries and providing information to customers and potential customers [Sales]
• Communicate with customers and co-workers in a manner that is professional and in a fashion that is in keeping with the customer service goals of the company. [Customer Service]
• Maintaining the property appearance and cleanliness. [Maintenance]
• Be prepare to work consistently full time and when required at multiple locations in a local geographic area. [Reliability]

Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Customer Service and/or Sales Experience: 2 years.
• Excellent communication, both in person and on the phone
• Office skills including; organizational skills, writing, math and computer skills required.
• Strong customer service orientation, with good decision making ability and a professional image is necessary.
• Valid driver’s license, own transportation and good driving record required.
